General Information

In Jacksonville, Texas, east of Dallas, Old Jacksonville Industries, Inc., started zinc die casting in December 1983 with the manufacture of an implant device for cattle.  This device is still being produced today utilizing a nine cavity family mold, secondary machining and final assembly.

 

O.J.I. has grown in size and capability since 1983; and now has 7 zinc and 4 aluminum high pressure die cast machines, 2 Stahl 24 x 30 permanent mold tilt tables and spin casting equipment for prototypes and small part production.  Multiple work centers for machining, drilling tapping, finishing and assembly have been added.   Our die casting machines can handle molds ranging in size up to 32”.  We maintain stock of Aluminum 356, 360, 380 and 413 and Zamac 5 and 12.
